It has been thirteen years since the Dominion of Atlivion first set foot upon the barbarian kingdoms, collectively known as the "Pelanthar Confederation" by scholarly individuals. This invasion, justified by the promises of progress and advancement, has spread to the furthest corners of the Pelantharian kingdoms. Highly opposed to these actions, the League of Aradeos encouraged dissent among the newly formed Dominion prefectures.
Encouraged by the spreading disorder, the Grand Duchy of Orevium moved in on Dominion territory, quickly sweeping aside Atlivonian forces, and annexing many fringe provinces. With this stroke of invasion, the expanded provinces were driven into chaos. Many had the gall to separate from the Dominion, others simply descended into the madness of pillaging and war, reverting to their tribal, ancestral ways. Many Atlivonian colonists fled back to their homeland, soldiers and statesmen alike.
With the region reeling after widespread anarchy, small empires have began to prop up themselves, using Dominion technology to secure the dominance in the region. With the regions of the world moving in on each other, each citizen has their role to play in the coming battles which will collectively dismantle and destroy great empires.
